Welcome

Of making many books there is no end, and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

Ecclesiastes 12:12 (ESV)

Although Solomon is correct, much study is a weariness of the flesh, he also would be the first to suggest that “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction” [Proverbs 1:7 (ESV)] Many authors have written exceptional books about theology.

The books we choose for the Bookworm are practical theology. They are not law, such as The Ten Steps to a Happy Marriage, but focs on salvation by grace through faith for the sake of Christ. How does this truth effect all Christians, no matter their vocation or place in life?

Our first book is Dying to Live by Dr. Harold Senkbeil. It is available from CPH as print, audio book, or Kindle format. It is also available on Amazon. We have some copies available at the church, so please ask before you purchase a copy.

Welcome aboard. I look forward to reading and commenting on this book with you.
